A gorgeously designed hardcover collecting a dozen chapters of concept art and set photography to offer a behind-the-scenes look at the most anticipated paranormal action thriller of 2019! Explore the dark and marvelous world of Hellboy like never before through nearly one thousand pieces of art and photography across 200 full-color pages. This new film is a reboot of the Hellboy film series and is the third live-action Hellboy film. The film draws inspiration from the comic books Darkness Calls, The Wild Hunt, and The Storm and the Fury.

The project began as a sequel to Hellboy II: The Golden Army (2008), with Mignola and Cosby writing the script. Guillermo del Toro was not offered the full writer-director capacity he had performed in the first two films, and Ron Perlman, who portrayed Hellboy, refused to return without del Toro's involvement. The project was turned into an R-rated reboot after Marshall was hired as the director and Harbour cast as Hellboy. Principal photography began in September 2017 in the United Kingdom and Bulgaria and ended in December 2017.

Includes the characters King Arthur, Merlin, Ganeida, and Queen Nimue.

Includes several pages of Hellboy comics art by Mignola and Richard Corben, juxtaposed with scenes from the film to show how closely they translated the story from its original appearance. I've rarely seen this done, and it's a great addition. We also like the detail of Hellboy's guns, outfits, and costuming of all the various characters.
