- Full Description
Ahh, those Frazetta women, are they good girls or bad? Original handsome prints of three iconic images, Sea Queen, casting a spell over the tumultuous waves and Egyptian Queen, a voluptuous beauty pressed against a stunning marbled column. And in a lighter vein, a topless beauty clutching a bloodied axe surrounded by demented, cruel beasts who clearly are at her beck and call (first done as a National Lampoon cover, for their "Strange Beliefs" issue).
It's all about sex and female power, in these superbly painted images from Frank's best period. Egyptian Queen first appeared as a cover an early issue of Warren's Creepy, and Sea Witch as the cover of an Eerie, then later as a wrap-around dust jacket for Seademons by Laurence Yep.
