The Masterworks Series of Great Comic Book Artists #3. Published by DC Comics and Seagate (Phil Seuling) Distributors. In a rare collaboration, comics pioneer Seuling went to DC and arranged to co-publish a collection of Berni's first stories. Four classic stories in full color.

Here are "Molded In Evil" by George Kashdan and Wrightson (originally presented in Plop #5). "The Secret of the Egyptian Cat" by Kanigher and Wrightson (originally presented in House of Mystery #186).

"House of Madness!" by Wrightson was originally presented in House of Mystery #188. And "The Gourmet" by Steven Skeates and Wrightson was originally presented in Plop #1.

The first two issues of this series both featured Frank Frazetta. This is the last issue. The back cover announces issues 4 and 5, devoted to Neal Adams, but these never appeared. I think this was only distributed to the Direct Market. All ads inside are for Seuling-distributed titles, and the 1983 Forbidden Planet Comic & Sci-Fi Convention.

Note: Corners may have minor corner bend or backcover scuff, but overall grade is Very Fine or better. These have been stored away by us since they first were published in 1983. Overstreet value is $6.00.
