There's no end to funky fun and fearsome tales in this second volume of yarns from Story Comics. Several stories each by Wood-imitators Hy Fleishman and A.C. Hollingsworth, future SF author Harry Harrison working with Ernie Bache, and two early Lou Cameron tales. There's injury-to-the-eye, dismemberment, an eyeball story (?), and extreme violence--#11 appears in Seduction of the Innocent. And there are multiple swipes of EC's three witches narrating...unrecorded in Overstreet.

Every single cover features animated skeletons, plus stories like "The Terror of a Tattooed Man," "The Absent Minded Fiend," "Eyes of Horror," "The Bride of Death," "The Terror of the Lively Corpse," "The Death Head," "The Whip of Death," and "The Cage of Horror." Many of the stories here have been reprinted over the years, attesting to, well, their unique appeal!!

Cameron draws his own version of "Curse of the Flying Dutchman" and a pretty primitive "Curse of the Tattooed Man." A story that stars two military men in Japan has some bloody samurai action, and ends with the tattooed man skinning one of our bad boys alive. "He took back his tattoos." Umm, boy!

Also work by Bill Fraccio, Ed Goldfarb, Jon D'Agostino, and Doyle Cohen. Ok, I can't say too much about the art quality here, but in this title it’s the bizarro stories and covers that are the reason to pick this up! Another oddball horror title that today is commanding higher and higher prices in the collector's market, even for beat-up copies.
