Dan has drawn a special two-color drawing of a Bride of Frankenstein, which he has then tipped into a very limited number of copies. Also boldly signed again underneath the drawing, which is also signed and dated 2013. Dan has done these especially for us and we may be the only source, besides Dan himself, for this special addition. While not finished, this is an elaborate drawing with good detail and well-worth the extra cost. Each drawing is unique.
We enjoyed Dan's Sirens collection so much, we decided to bring back this excellent 2010 companion volume published by Image Comics. After more than 20 years, Dan Brereton, award-winning comics creator and painter, collects his best works for the very first time in this beautiful full-color hardcover volume. The Goddess & The Monster features furiously colorful illustrations in Brereton's unmistakable style, spanning his work in comics, film, and more--ranging from the commercial to personal, adventurous to lurid, dark to heroic.
Includes a delicious abundance of nudes and very sexy ladies, all well endowed: a wonderful variety of witches and bad girls, Bettie Page, a cool space girl, Sheena, Vampirella (several) and many more. Here too is Red Sonja, Sgt. Rock, Conan, The Punisher, Doc Savage, stars of Dan's Nocturnals, Batman, The Avengers, Iron Man, Dark Phoenix, Capt. America, Zatanna, The entire Watchman crew, Dr. Strange, Elektra...and the list goes on and all. Every piece is a nicely finished, full color painting.
Along the way are testimonials to Dan's skills from Gene Colan, Alex Horley, William Stout and a dozen other industry friends and creators
