In this collection, Professor Zoom changes places and identities with the Flash on the eve of Barry Allen’s wedding to Iris West. Just when the Flash thinks eveything is back to normal, he sprains his ankle badly during a rescue attempt and is placed on crutches, after which he encounters Captain Cold and Heat Wave. Will the Flash be able to mend in time to save the city? Find out in The Flash: The Silver Age Omnibus Volume 3.

Additional contributors: Neal Adams, Don Heck, Sid Greene, Vince Colletta, and Joe Giella. Several of the covers are by Murphy Anderson inking his own work.

Addition writers include Robert Kanigher, Cary Bates, Frank Robbins, and Mike Friedrich.

Although it's been a few years now since The Flash's revival, first in Showcase and then with Flash #105, this is still the second Golden Age of The Flash. Infantino as primary artist, with inking by Giella and Sid Greene, and legendary writers Broome and Gardner Fox continue their magic in these issues. And while consistent, we start to see some interesting new writing and artwork, as others begin to step and and take on this fan-favorite series. Even while Marvel was doing their magic with Spidey and the gang, DC was still a leader in sales and The Flash, along with Green Lantern and the JLA were their flagship titles, even more so than Superman at this point.

The thinking man's superhero continues in this fine new collection. New 2017 Introduction by Mark Waid.
