Following the amazing success of Icon, Underwood books presented their second volume with an entirely different selection of works. Same museum quality reproduction as Icon, with an equal number of paintings and drawings. 75 full page major paintings, 23 previously-unpublished, two-color pieces for an animated "Dracula", and more rare works. Also, 34 smaller color pieces, many unpublished elsewhere, and 40 b&w drawings.

The gallery section includes many of Frazetta's most memorable paintings: all the "Kane" paintings, and 19 Burroughs works. With many observations by the artist himself, Legacy focuses on Frazetta's presence in a variety of genres, and his place in 20th-century art history.

Several of the pieces were reworked after publication, and as such contain nudity not on the originally reproduced versions.

A special section is devoted to Frazetta's comic art, which includes numerous rare covers and a complete, never reprinted eight-page story from Frank's peak ink period- 1953. There are also pictures of Frank and Ellie, both from their wild younger days and of recognition by everyone as the world's finest fantasy illustrator.

This is a publisher file copy, as new. Underwood Books had these stored away in their archives for the last 18 years and has made us the exclusive source for their last available copies. Extremely limited supply.

Note: This copy has a light 3" crease and mark on one page, and a few subsequent pages have a light crease, as if that set of pages was dropped. This also does not include the Frazetta hand-stamp (Frank could not sign, due to his stroke) on others in this edition, but it does have the Frazetta family gold embossed stamp, and all five of the signatures as noted above.

Since we pay the shipping (in the U.S.) on orders over $300, shipping is free on this book. This will be shipped by UPS and insured.
