- Full Description
This final volume in the Frank Frazetta trilogy features more than 100 full-color paintings ranging from from barbarian battles to erotica to religious art. Fans will discover totally different versions of "Mongol Tyrant" and "Dancer from Atlantis" and thrill to "Dawn's Early Light," one of Frazetta's finest erotic watercolors published here for the first time. Also found here are personal photographs from the Frazetta family archives including shots of George Lucas visiting the Frazetta estate and Bo Derek posing for one of his alluring femme fatales.
Comments and anecdotes by the artist and the editors, along with testimonials from artists such as Dave Stevens, Michael Wm. Kaluta, Bruce Timm, Bernie Wrightson and others. Frazetta's autobiography includes an examination of the pirate publishers that have plagued him throughout the years and an essay on Ellie Frazetta featuring some surprising artwork and photographs.
We've added to this a special unsigned bookplate, featuring previously unpublished Frazetta artwork. We produced this ourselves, in cooperation with the publishers, to accompany the trade edition when it was first published. Since we had some left, we're included one as a bonus here.
Note: Copies have scuffed and or torn covers. Some have minor sunning on the spine.
