Zack Mosely is more famous for his pilot Flyin' Jack. Boody Rogers came on board (also better known for his work on Babe). Here is collected a complete episode of daily strips from 1930-40, before Betty took on the more voluptuous aspects of Mosely's and Rogers' typical women. It's fun.

You'll also venture inside the studios of cartoonist Derf, who discusses some of the artifacts he keeps around while he works. The Open Road for Boys cartooning contest (in 1939), Surveying comics reporters ("The Original Fake News") with a look at EC's Extra, DC's Big Town, Hap Hopper, Jane Arden, Steve Roger, Ray Hale (from Crime Smashers), Brenda Starr and Marvel's own 1950s hero, Casey Crime Photographer. And believe it or not, there's much more!
