Told from the perspective of young Englishman Francis Obaldistone, who goes to Scotland, falls in love with the lovely Diana Vernon, but is embroiled in the skirmishes between English and Scots. Nicely illustrated by Rudy Palais and his brother. Just two CI editions were ever done, the second in 1967.
