Produced by Al Bohl and his daughter Allison Bohl, the film includes the historical setting at the time the film was made. The original silent film Tarzan of the Apes is here on Disc 2, set to a new musical score by Kermit Poling.

Also includes a conversation with Burrough Bibliophiles curator George McWhorter, a featurette on Atchafalaya Heritage, a collection of Tarzan yells, and the Audubon Zoo.
