Wonder Woman, arguably the best-known female superhero in the world, was introduced in the early 1940s in these quirky tales written by the inventor of the lie detector, psychologist William Moulton Marston. These stories introduce the mythology of Wonder Woman as she battles the powers of evil—from crooked business owners to Nazi spies. The stories are fun and different, not falling into the typical cliches of many of the Golden Age heroes. Marston's undeclared wife, and later a female assistant, wrote many of these stories and they have a women's viewpoint, to be honest, rarely seen in other comics.

They also have a charm and naiveté that is fun. Today, especially with the hit 2017 film, the interest in her original comic books has exploded. Issues all the way into the 1960s are selling for multiples of Guide. Here, for the price of just one later issue, are 32 issues covering exactly 60 complete adventures!

Includes all the wonderful covers also, many of these now icons of the time, such as "Wonder Woman for President" and seasonal images of Christmas and Thanksgiving, as well as her co-appearances in Comics Cavalcade with Green Lantern and The Flash.

In comparison, the Wonder Woman Golden Age Omnibus Volume 1 in hardcover, collects All Star Comics #8, Sensation Comics #1-24 and Wonder Woman #1-7, and Comic Cavalcade #1-5, for $75, your price $65.
