In this epic conclusion to the series, Isabellae battles against ancient Celtic beasts and deities that threaten the destruction of humanity. Curious about her origins and in search of long-lost Celtic relatives, Isabellae travels to Ireland. But when the ancient druids of the Emerald Isle make a deal with the monstrous Formorian gods, Isabellae finds herself battling in a war with her English and Irish allies. Very well drawn, with excellent coloring, this is yet another French graphic novel now translated and worth your attention.

Here's the story of the first collection, which itself gathers together three complete French albums: In the midst of feudal Japan, Isabellae Ashiware, the young daughter of an Irish witch and a samurai master, roams the countryside with her father's ghost at her side, earning her living by her sword and searching for her long-lost sister, Siuko. Fighting against all odds, Isabellae must take charge of her destiny once and for all and face her past in order to move forward.

Artist Gabor was just a boy when he first got into comic books. He's always been a big reader, and has been drawing ever since he started watching cartoons. He soon set his heart on a career in animation, and took classes in development and pre-production. He started working for Studio Tridente Animation in 1996. That's where he met his friend Juan Diaz Canales, with whom he shared his passion for comic books.

He ended up working for this studio for 10 years, during which time he was involved in numerous animation projects such as Cédric (with Dupuis, published by Cinebook in English), Agrippine (Claire Bretécher/Dargaud, 2016), and Papyrus (also with Dupuis and published by Cinebook in English), as well as on films such as Bécassine, Le Cid and even Asterix and the Vikings. He drew Greenworld with François Debois at Soleil, then Les Patriciens with Juan Diaz Canales at Glénat. Next he joined forces with Raule, with whom he created the sublime Isabellae at Le Lombard (Dark Horse 2019).

Collects the final three volumes of the original French series, available in English for the first time.
