I found this dark, disturbing, and strangely moving, as if this is indeed what poor Marilyn would go through on her path to stardom and, ultimately, to drinking and a sad, early death. It was a page turner and I could not put it down until I'd finished it. This is not good-girl light entertainment...it's drawn in a dark, surreal, expressionist style that I found convincing and engaging.

"A brilliant, hallucinatory meditation on the phenomenon of Marilyn Monroe. It will alter your understanding of both Hollywood and Marilyn." -David Cronenberg
