The acclaimed team of writer Steve Orlando and artist Riley Rossmo (Batman/The Shadow, Batman: Night of the Monster Men) reteam for a reinvention of the Manhunter from Mars in this twisted, unexpected series. Collects all 12 issues of Martian Manhunter, as well as an extensive bonus gallery featuring interviews, behind-the-scenes art process pieces, and more!

Definately not your typical comic, this seems as if it's set in an alternate universe. J'onn is clearly NOT human, nor are most of his opponents; they seem like monsters from a demented Lovecraft novel. Great gallery of bonus variant covers by Joshua Middleton. Wonderful art on all of these.

Plus a multi-page interview with the creators, with more bonus behind-the-scenes artwork. And the first story introducing the Manhunter, from Detective Comics #225, 1995, is reprinted in its entirety.

"Brilliant, bold and bloody, Orlando and Rossmo use a thrilling superhero noir to explore identity and alienation..." - Tom King (Batman, Mr. Miracle)

Also praise here by Kelley Jones, Eduardo Risso, Paul Pope and Gerald Way. Here's Brian Michael Bendis: "This ain't company hype. I read this comic last week and had to read the second part twice to make sure it was really as good as I thought it was."
