Before Spider-Man and Doctor Strange, Steve Ditko applied his incomparable art and storytelling mastery to taut suspense-thrillers, cast with nervous-eyed dreamers and sweaty-palmed schemers, none of whom make it out without getting their just desserts. Here you get every single one of Ditko's stories of suspense for Marvel (and Atlas) in two beautifully restored Omnibus volumes. From his very first Marvel work in 1956 through to his last five-page masterpiece, every Silver Age tale is collected here.

Ditko had stories in nearly every issue of Marvel's most important fantasy titles. He was so popular, Stan finally created Amazing Adult Fantasy just to feature a comic with all Ditko--these stories are all here in Volume 2. And of course, this carried right into the final issue of that title, Amazing Adult Fantasy #15, starring Spider-Man--which is here, too, just for good measure.

Stan and Steve explored science fiction, monsters, bad people, alien invasion, the occult, the great unknown...and Ditko's art was just fabulous; he clearly loved doing these gorgeous five and six page stories.

This also includes several of his best covers for the same issues. The Kirby monsters in many of these issues were fun, but it was the Ditko tales that made you wonder and think and left you sometimes with more questions. Like Twilight Zone, these were often enigmatic and nearly always unusual.
