- Full Description
Métal Hurlant magazine was created in Paris in 1974 by Moebius, Druillet and Dionnet, the founding fathers of Les Humanoïdes. And which, of course, spawned Heavy Metal in the U.S. In 2002, Humanoids relaunched MHa s a 13-issue anthology, with new work by Geoff Johns, Richard Corben, Kurt Busiek, Guy Davis, and Jerome Opena, among many others. This collects the best short stories, 23 of them, plus a never-translated story by Caza (who also does the cover) from 1981. Adult themes, nudity.
Also includes work by François Boucq, Tommy Lee Edwards, Christian Gossett, David Lloyd, Gerald Parel and Ryan Sook.
Love the cover. I'd give this a highly recommended, but I haven't had a chance to read it yet, so based strictly on what I can glean from looking it over, I'll be conservative and give it just a normal "recommended" for now. But it looks like fun.
