This remains one of our best-sellers in the Modern Masters series, so it's particularly cool to now offer copies to anyone who missed it at a super-bargain price.

Inspired by the great illustrators like Arthur Rackham, Vess has brought a unique fantasy element to comics and to his many creator-owned projects, as well as work for well-known authors including Neil Gaiman and Ursula Le Guin (Books of Earthsea just won its own Hugo award  for Vess in 2019).

Charles has always been fascinated by fairy tales and classic fantasy, and his work has often been to illustrate these. Even his Spider-Man graphic novel, Spirits of the Earth, takes Spider-Man to Ireland and puts him smack in the middle of an adventures with ghosts and witches that would seem like something more out of Hellboy.
