- Full Description
More than 20 years old! For 30 years, Mozert was one of the premiere artists for calendars, creating gorgeous pin-ups for Brown & Bigelow. Her portraits and nudes brought her international acclaim.
Originally painted in the late 1940s, this large-sized reproduction of Mozert's lovely pastel features three nudes posed together: they're facing away from the viewer with their arms about each other's shoulders. "Their three different bodies range from voluptuous to very well-rounded and therein is the appeal--contrasting and real figures."--Bud.
The gentle yet rich tones add a dreamlike and nostalgic quality to the piece, recalling turn-of-the-century work by illustration masters. Printed on museum-quality paper, this excellent reproduction is signed in pencil by Mozert and numbered to 1000 copies.
Note: There is an extremely faint line running vertically through the image. This is a very small printing flaw and is common to all copies, only visible if you get up very close.
