- Full Description
Seven issues, complete with those cool b&w inside cover contents art by Everett Raymond Kinstler, art by the talents above plus "Master of the Dead," "Help Us to Die," "The White Gorilla," "Satan's Woman Prize," "Only the Dead Live Here" (also by ERK), and lots more. Wood-like art by A.C. Hollingworth, another ERK story, and more. Issue #12 is a special, the entire issue devoted to an adaptation of "Dracula."
Although Wally Wood gets some credit here, what actually was happening is that the cover artists, including Sid Check and possibly Joe Orlando had both shared a studio with Wood, and their work was so much in his style that these covers are often credited to him. But by this time he'd left Avon and was off at EC, doing his amazing work for all of THEIR titles. But he still left his stamp here, as they used those gorgeous Wood-looking women on many of the covers.
This second volume features issues 8-14 from August/September 1952--January/February 1954. All digitally enhanced and faithfully reproduced.
