Ken Bald went on to draw the comic strip Doctor Kildare but he was a prolific comics artist in the 1940s, working for the top publishers on top characters. He did Sun Girl for Timely, Bulletman and Captain Midnight for Fawcett, Crime Smashers..and another classic, the Dark Shadows newspaper strip.
