Almost everything in this book was written and drawn on spec. No funds were harmed in its creation.

The book has four sections: 1. “The Little Space Grils” 2. “Not-So-Super Heroes” 3. “Bizarro Nancy” 4: “Amuzing Stories.” Adult content mainly in “Bizarro Nancy.”

“You may not know that Gary has a goofy and delightfully naughty sense of humor. So buy this book and immerse yourself in this champagne bubble bath of totally depraved and well drawn comic stories. -Shary Flenniken (Trots and Bonnie)

“Hallgren can…flawlessly (and hilariously) mimic any style of drawing. Nancy and Sluggo, Dagwood and Blondie, Mickey and Minnie have gone through the Hallgren sausage machine and have never been quite the same again. Bravo for this long-awaited collection of mirth and mayhem. -Richard Milner (author of Charles R. Knight: The Artist Who Saw Through Time)

Hallgren is best known as one of the notorious Air Pirates, the cartoonists that included Dan O’Neill and Bobby London, who parodied Disney characters in the famous two issues of Mickey Mouse Meets the Air Pirates. Disney came after our enterprising cartoonists like an 800-pound gorilla. To this day, that remains the one and only printing of these adult and o-so-irreverent stories. There’s an entire book about the episode.

Gary has produced this himself, and has personally signed all of our copies.
