These stories are aimed at the genre‐loving crowd looking for diverse protagonists. The content is LGBT friendly and features cultures from across the world. 20 complete stories, including a classic from the early 1970s starring a female ninja, “The Promise,” by Sanho Kim.

The six page introduction offers up the origins of the gothic story in comics, beginning in the early 1970s with DC’s The Dark Mansion of Forbidden Love, The Sinister House of Secret Love and from Charlton Comics, Haunted Love. There was some wild stuff coming out in comics in those days, and that’s the inspiration for this new anthology.

Well‐known comic creators involved include Cecil Castellucci, Ray Fawkes, David Lafuente, Colleen Coover, and Governor‐General award‐winner David Robertson.

An extra-thick volume (224 pages) brought about by a successful Kickstarter campaign. Forword by Jacque Nodell. Additional artwork by Rahzzah.
