Description

Okay, horror fans, check out the seven blood-soaked and brain-damaged gore-fests that make up the first seven issues of Voodoo, boasting an artist line-up that includes Robert Webb, Matt Baker, and the entire Iger Shop. Baker’s South Sea Girl stories that appear here are reprinted from the very rare Seven Seas Comics from 1948. That series lasted just six issues from 1946 to 1947, but it featured some stunning work by Baker from the same period he was doing Sky Girl and other work for Fiction House. It’s great stuff!

Stories include “Goodbye World,” “Voodoo Canvas,” “Devil Flower,” “Killer Lady,” “She Wanted to Know: The Black Future,” “Ghoul’s Bride,” “The Weird Dead,” “The Spiteful Spirit,” “Ghoul for a Day,” “Beast of the Bog,” “Thief of Souls,” and “There’s Peril in Perfection,” among many others.
