Our Highest Recommendation. Vintage comic gems: three full length pre-code comics adapted from 1951-52 sci-fi films: When Worlds Collide (outstanding art by EC’s own George Evans and Al Williamson!!), The Man from Planet X (gorgeous work by the fine Superman artist Kurt Schaffenberger), and Destination Moon (by Dick Rockwell). Plus Vic Torry and his Flying Saucer (more gorgeous artwork, a 1950 one-shot by Bob Powell), and The Green Planet (1962). All are reproduced completely from cover to cover. PS Artbooks, 2021.

The Green Planet is an offbeat one-shot Charlton title, drawn by Rocco Mastroserio, Charles Nicholas and Vince Alascia, with the cover and a short story by future DC Comics editor & artist, Dick Giordano! The oppressive government of Earth exiles a dozen freedom fighters to the planet Klorath. When they arrive, they learn that the dissidents who preceded them are all dead, so they must adapt to their new home and make peace with the natives...on The Green Planet!

As if this all-star line-up of art talent and good stories were not enough…PS also credits Wally Wood on the back cover as a contributor. But we find no Wood here, unless we missed something.
