It also launched a successful newspaper strip, a radio show (as Space Cadet), a series of Dell comic books, as well as lunch boxes, LP records, toys, promotional giveaways, and eight science fiction novels by Carey Rockwell. Advisor Willy Ley was a professional rocketry expert and spaceflight advocate. He served as technical advisor to both this book series and the television show!
