  1. FIREFLY Big Damn Hero
    $14.95

It should have been a routine job, transporting five crates from the planet of Persephone to a waiting buyer. And Lord knows, Captain Mal Reynolds needs the money if he's to keep Serenity flying. But the client is Badger, and nothing that involves him is ever straightforward. The crates are full of explosives, which might blow at the slightest movement. Then, just before take-off, Mal disappears. As the cargo grows more volatile by the minute, and Alliance cruisers start taking an interest in the tenacious smuggling ship, it's down to Serenity's first mate, Zoë, to choose between rescuing her captain and saving her crew. 7. TARZAN CONQUEROR OF MARS
    $24.95

Mysteriously teleported to Mars just as John Carter once was, Tarzan searches for the one man who could show him the path home—The Warlord of Mars! I'm a huge fan of Murray's first Tarzan novel, Return to Pal-Ul-Don. And just like reading Return, I was sorry to see this new novel come to an end. It's really fun, nice and long at 460 pages. Murray captures ERB's style and voice very well. John Carter finally comes into play...in a major way...but not until halfway through the novel! I could elaborate, but no more spoilers. For the first half of the book, Tarzan 1) manages to stay allive, not easy, 2) explores the outer reaches of Mars, far from civilization, and 3) begins to meet the many denizens of Mars: White Apes, a Zitidar, Thoats (which he masters riding), and Geen Martians. 8. TARZAN CONQUEROR OF MARS Hardcover Signed
    $65.00

Mysteriously teleported to Mars just as John Carter once was, Tarzan searches for the one man who could show him the path home—The Warlord of Mars! I'm a huge fan of Murray's first Tarzan novel, Return to Pal-Ul-Don. I'm just 1/3 of the way in as I write this, but I'm as excited as I was with Return. Murray writes with ERB's voice, giving this the feel of an original ERB novel. You discover Mars along with Tarzan--as of page 160 he's only just now heard John Carter's name. So far he's spent all his time staying alive, discovering the White Apes (and become the leader of a band of them), Thoats, Green Martians and all the other denizens of Mars. He's still out in the wilderness of the planet. Learn More
