Details

A nostalgic tour through the world of the superhuman hero covers the entire range of his career fighting crime and corruption. Black and White with color signature interior; full color dustjacket.

The background is a collage of images. Panels 1, 4, and 5 are from the Superman origin story in Superman #1, page 2. Panel 2 is from Action Comics #5, page 4, panel 2. Panel 3 is also from Action Comics #5 but page 8, panel 3. The story from Action Comics #5 is not reprinted in this book but had recently (1965) been reprinted in Jules Feiffer's The Great Comics Book Heroes.

The main figure of Superman is taken from the back cover of Superman Annual #3. That figure is based on (but redrawn) from the Wayne Boring figure from the cover of Superman #53. This figure is also used on the spine of this book.

Note: This is an out of print, used and/or rare item. Very Fine in a Fine jacket. Minor wear to the spine. Jacket has a small tear and minor rolling near the top.
