I realize the entire concept of this sounds silly, all these heroes meeting one another...especially Conan. But Gail Simoine pulled it off with Wonder Woman meets Conan, which turned out to be a rich, well-conceived story that I thoroughly enjoyed. And from the looks of this, they just may have done it again.

The early battle between Wolverine and Conan--"Stay down, you dumb barbarian." "I'll stay down when I'm dead. You fought and died well, stranger." is pretty amazing. And of course, Wolverine even with a sword through his chest is not about to pass away quietly.

Deodato does a fine job on the art here, it's dark and detailed and very satisfying, drawing you into this very unusual story. -Bud
