He's also illustrated children's books and magazines, and recently done work for Astonish Comics. This collection demonstrates Dean's mastery of animation style, humor, and ladies, as well as his ability to show character in every face. Very, very nice.

These sketches, preliminary drawings, roughs and doodles cover a range of styles and character types, and have incredible vitality. Here are pinup girls, puppies, twerps, varmints, frogs, mugs, gargoyles, squirrels, fish, swine, geezers, dragons, and Mandy.

This was sold out for a while, but is back in print in a literally identical printing, direct from Dean Yeagle himself.
