All from the Charlton group, from titles like Space Adventures, Outer Space, Black Fury, Unusual Tales...

We're also treated to several fun western stories, a genre we rarely see Ditko tackling. We also have stories here from Mysteries of Unexplored Worlds and Black Jack. But the emphasis is on sci-fi, as at least nineteen of the stories offer us Ditko's science fiction at its most innovative.

Blake Bell provides the introduction, with a rare picture of Ditko in his studio. Bell describes how this represents the closing of Ditko's first wild burst of creativity, which within six months would find him at Marvel, energized by Stan Lee's creative relationship and bold new titles to work on.
