It's a funny story for someone like me, not familiar with Red Hook. He's a somewhat inept costumed thief, who bumps into this strange mystery. Who is this woman who appears in such a life-like statue on the boardwalk? Along comes the Night Watchman, another throwback to 1940s heroes, who is going to take Hook and himself back in time to prevent Luna from being erased from history. We find Luna fighting bad guys before 1900, but can our boys deal with a strange villain who is planning to change the future and turn poor Luna, and himself, into statues locked in time.

It's a homage to 1940s heroes and heroines, with a strange unpolished edge in both art and story, and yet it still somehow works.
