Never-before-seen Bettie Page photographs. In 1951, young art student Jack Faragasso hired a model for a photo shoot--Bettie Page, early in her career. Intimate shots from that afternoon session, accompanied by several of Jack's drawings and several finished book covers that he used the poses for. Topless and full nudity, classic poses plus unique shots. Bettie is also in nylons and undies. Lengthy intro about this session, written by Jack in 2013.
Jack Faragasso is a noted artist and art teacher who's renowned for carrying on the art traditions of instructor Frank Reilly. Reilly was considered one of the finest teachers of drawing and painting in the country. Jack assumed directorship of Reilly's school in 1967, after the artist passed away, and continues to teach there today. Includes a short biography of Bettie, of Faragasso, and his interesting recollections of the photo shoot and those early days in New York City.
