This is the second in a series of 6 books published by Gerry de la Ree of the works of Virgil Finlay. In this second book the emphasis is placed on his work in the 1940-42 period, prior to his induction into the Army during WW ll and the 1947-55 post-war period in which he refined his style and produced some of the best B&W drawings ever seen in pulp magazines This copy is a review copy of a limitation of 1300.
Virgil Finlay is regarded by many as the greatest science fiction illustrator of all time.
