Save on a two-volume set in a slipcase. Volume 9: Mickey and the space and time traveling alien Eega team up to save Mouseton from the Rhyming Man... a poetic master spy with an arsenal of chemical weapons! And more stories, plus all kinds of cool additional material, profusely illustrated Afterword with storyboards, pencilled art, international all-original covers of various Mickey Mouse magazines, and a complete full-color story with Eega, "Lost in the Microcosmos," from the Italian Mickey magazine Topolino from 1957.

And there's more, besides the plethora of fun comic strip adventures of our feisty mouse. There's a look at Romano Scarpa, considered the heir to Gottfredson. Scarpa also both wrote and drew Mickey strips, in his case for the Italian original comics that mostly were never reprinted in the U.S. He won the Yellow Kid award at Lucca in 1990. And also we have "Mickey Mouse Shows Morty Why He Should Fill His Advent Mite Box!" which is from a 1948 Christmas campaign, by Floyd Gottfredson, to raise money for charity. All that in Volume 9!

Volume 10: Gottfredson’s colorful characters become astronauts as Mickey and Eega Beeva find “Be-Junior,” a planet beyond the moon! And they meet the lovely but faceless Woo-Woo in a very surreal sequence. Back on Earth, modern relatives of Cinderella’s Gus and Jaq need Mickey’s help in “Mousepotamia”... and Pegleg Pete has become an Iron Curtain spy! Plus "The Land Beneath the Sea," "Planet of the Aints," and "Tzig-Tzag Fever"...seven complete stories and all kinds of bonus features and art, vintage and from Europe.

Special essay by Floyd Gottfredson, "If, as you said...". "Stir Crazy," a Mickey supplement from Denmark, 2007. The Heirs of Gottfredson looks at Noel Van Horn. Gottfredson's Cold War Chronicles. Forward by Thomas Andre, special features by David Gerstein.

These guys really do a bang-up job of putting together not just a collection of vintage stories, but lots of extra features, including quite a bit of artwork never before collected.
